Life's so precious!

Yesterday morning I went to work and learned some very sad news. Melissa's parents were in a car accident Tuesday night and her mother passed away and her father is in critical condition at Akron General Hospital. Melissa is one of my very good friends at work. Her, Crystal and I work out daily at lunch. Not only do we coach each other in our constant battle of whether or not to work out... but, we coach each other in life as well... telling each other not to stress out, to take things one day at a time, and to encourage each other to be the best we can be.

I truly love the friendship that I have found in the two of them!

But, just like that... your whole life is changed! I can't even imagine that.

Crystal and I went to see Melissa and her husband, Dave, at the hospital yesterday to give them our support.

I had the pleasure of meeting Melissa's parents (Steve and Diane) at CIC's golf outing this year. Her father and uncle purchased a team, and her mom and aunt came for dinner the night before and the post-golf cocktail dinner party. What wonderful people! Melissa has a unique laugh... and she definitely got it from her mom. I also was able to have lunch with them a few weeks back at the Terrace Club.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Melissa & Dave and her family.
