Great weekend... despite having to work and no boyfriend!
Spent most of my weekend with Bob's parents! And, I had a great time! :-)
His mom, Pat, is absolutely sweet. She called me at work Friday morning and asked what I had planned for my weekend alone. (For those who don't remember... me being a department of one now had to work on Saturday and missed the trip to Put-in-Bay with Bob's friend, Dave, and his wife, Heidi) Pat invited me to come over to their place Friday night for a gathering with some of their friends. She didn't want me to have to sit home alone. (That was quite nice of her and Ed to think of me!) It was much fun! We ate finger foods and talked for hours and then capped off the night with a dip in the pool.
Before I left the Mueller residence, Pat asked if I wanted to go shopping Saturday morning before I went to work. So, we spent 2.5 hours walking through Crocker Park in Westlake. We only shopped in half of the stores so we're planning another trip in August to finish the rest of the stores. It was a great morning of shopping and getting to know each other better! :-)
The rest of Saturday was spent working from 1pm until 6pm and then I came home, treated myself to Chinese food and watched Notting Hill on TV, followed by Serendipity while I snuggled in bed with the kitties. (I LOVE that movie!!)
My parents came to visit on Sunday and mom and I weeded until the thunderstorm forced us inside and then we cleaned out the spare bedroom which Zelie has promptly taken over. Then, it was off to the brand new Target (with Starbucks inside) and Giant Eagle. All nine of us (S&S, Aunt Carol, Uncle George, mom, dad, Bob and I) went to Applebee's for dinner.
Bob and I came home and watched Lost from last week. WE LOVE THAT SHOW!!! We started watching the reruns this summer and we're absolutely HOOKED!!! If you haven't seen it, you should definitely check it out! I saw on the website that they're taking pre-orders for season 1 on DVD.
