Colorado

Well, it's been awhile since I've posted. There's so much going on that taking the time at the end of the night to write just hasn't been a priority.

But, I'm going to write tonight... because I leave for Colorado in 32 hours!!!! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!

I thought by now I'd have my entire trip planned out... but, I really only have one thing locked in right now. I will be taking the 10:40am cog railway to the top of Pikes Peak on Sunday... and I can't wait!!!!! I've been to the top of Pikes Peak before by car. And, I was scared to be a passenger in a car going up those narrow, winding roads with HUGE drop-offs. There was NO WAY that I'd drive myself ALONE to the top on this trip. So, I'm letting someone else do the driving, so that I can sit back and enjoy.

Other than a trip to Garden of the Gods... and the usual gift shops for Colorado memorabilia... I don't really have an agenda. There are a couple restaurants that I'd like to eat at because I remember going there on past trips and they were yummy! One is the Omelette Parlor and the other is Giuseppe's Depot Restaurant.

I'm looking forward to a relaxing, roaming about aimlessly for two days "vacation". And, then it'll be on to non-stop, action packed True North training for JA from Monday night through Wednesday night.

I'm going to miss Bob... and I really wish he was coming to Colorado to see it with me because I love it so much (and I love him so much too)!!!

Wedding plans are going well... in case you're wondering! Things are really starting to come together. There are only a few odds and ends that need to be taken care of... but, I'm really excited about the wedding. It's going to be fabulous!!!

I'm off to bed now. It's been a long stressful day. But, I'll sleep well dreaming of the wedding... and of course, COLORADO!!!!
