Just got back from Bob's parents' annual 4th of July party. Much fun as usual! It's always nice to see familiar faces.

I took Zelie out for a spin when I got home. I'm heading to my parents this weekend, and would like to take him with me. He HATES car rides! He never used to be like this. But now, he foams at the mouth in the car. Quite disgusting!! So, I'm hoping if I take him for short rides this week, he might be ok for this weekend. (I'm not holding my breath though...)

Bob's off to Put-in-Bay tomorrow for the annual "boys' weekend"... which seems to have turned into a 5-day thing.... So, I'm flying solo for the next few days. But, I have plenty to keep me busy. Last night, Michell and I went to the Indians game. (We won!!!) And, we saw fireworks... they were AMAZING!! Probably some of THE BEST fireworks I've ever seen!! After the game, we hit Steak-n-Shake for shakes and french fries! LOL!

Tonight, I'm going to attempt to clean my desk. (It's gotten extremely ugly and out of hand!) I also might try to do some jewelry-making. (I got a lesson last weekend from an expert... and I'm hoping her tips will do the trick! Everything I make seems to fall apart.) Or, maybe I'll finish reading my book --- The Lake House by James Patterson. (Please do NOT confuse this with the Sandra Bullock/Keanu Reeves film The Lake House... it's NOT the same book!) I'm guessing that desk cleaning won't be happening tonight... but that's just a hunch! :-)

So... off I go to do something productive.
